In the years we have been selling Quality Amish Furniture, we have not found a better floor protector than these Safeglides. They wear like Iron while being gentle on your floors. These are great for Wood floors, but also protect and quiet the chairs on Tile, Vinyl and any other hard floor surface. From personal experience we can tell you that you should get up to 2-3 years use out of these before you need to change them (on chair legs that are cut flat). When it is time to change the Safeglide floor protectors, they come off and do not leave a huge hole. The Safeglides come off and new ones can be put back in the same spot.
